Why women don't like short men

First of all, it's not as bad as you think. A woman might think she doesn't like short men but then she gets attracted or falls in love with a short man anyway. When you ask most women will say they want a tall man or a man who is taller than her. No woman dreams about her ideal man who is much shorter than her. People have stereotypes and they assume what they want from what they saw or observed in life before. This is why it seems as women don't like short men. Still, you see a lot of short men are getting married and have girlfriends, so what it's all about?

Height in a man is just a preference but not a requirement. For some women height is more important than for others, but for most women it's just a preference.

Women don't like short men because of their own insecurities. If a person is very secure and confident in who she is the less height will matter. For example, the same reason short men don't always like tall women because of fear of rejection, insecurities and etc.

As far as sexuality, women aren't as visual as men are. Men are much easier get sexually attracted to women based on looks, whether a woman could like a man based on looks but her sexuality is much more complex than just by looking at someone.

Women love and appreciate handsome men but they aren't going to get sexually excited as fast as a man would.

Some men prefer tall women or short women sexually, it's a fantasy of his, but it's really rare for a woman to have a "short man" fantasy.

If you are a short man, don't get discouraged. There are a lot of short men who can get any woman, tall, short, average and etc. Women's attraction isn't simple, and just by being short you won't run women away. A lot of women love short men for their dominant personalities. Sometimes, when a guy is short he has to work harder and prove himself harder, so many short men develop attractive dominant personalities that women love and adore.

So, the questions why women don't like short men comes down to society and expectations that society puts on women. Anything that is unusual (tall woman with a short man) will turn heads and will make people look twice or say something. It's a simple human reaction. Women were raised to beleive and expect a taller man, children watch their parents, adults, watch movies and read stories...all of it reinforces the image of tall men for a woman.

If you are a short man and you think you can't get a date, a girlfriend or a wife because of your height...Let me tell you something. All men have a hard time to attract women. Just because you want, women won't run toward you and ask you out, despite all your desires and expectations you still have to face some rejection. All men get rejected but not all men react the same. If you really want to find a great woman, learn to deal with rejection first. You can't expect it to be easy. If you get rejected consider it as a blessing because better women and opportunities are ahead of you.

Maybe some women do get attracted to you but they have different plans or expectations about life, so don't give up and keep trying.

A lot of women do have "tall man" expectations, but they could still fall in love with a great shorter guy.
